About

I am a Canadian mixed media artist, working primarily with textiles. I'm curious, eccentric and just a little opinionated.

i'm so easy.....

To please, that is!!!! Greyman knows he doesn't have to buy me diamonds or chocolate---well, okay *some* chocolate :}---he just takes me to the hardware store, tool shop or junkyard and i'm perfectly happy. I can even make *myself* delerious with joy when i find little treasures CHEEPCHEEPCHEAP Bouncing a ball.

Yesterday i found five of these "framed view presentation books" which are perfect for class plans, portfolio submissions, commissions and special projects. And these little charms! Notice the position of the two dancers legs--they actually swing a bit! Love the bugs and the cat too. And the little Egyptian Cat Goddess (Bast) is a perfect size for some mixed media pieces.

The gold lace is a couple of those cheap doilies---going on the bottom cuffs and pockets of a pair of capri's for work. Got the idea from this:

This image is from Belle Armoire's Jan/Feb/08 issue---these cuties are by Robin Brown/Magnolia Pearl Unfortunately, when i visited her website a week ago, a lot of the thumbnails of her delicious designs are loaded incorrectly on her site, so you'll get an error page. You can still drool on the teeny shots though!

Mine won't be quite as ruffly and are a darker brown, or maybe i'll make new purple ones, but i think it's so sweet!

I am going to enjoy today--i have the house to myself, as MIL is going out for the day--whoo hoo! See? i *am* easy :}

You'll so cute in oilcloth and ruffles. I used to LOVE walking around the hardware store to find things to use in totally different ways. *sigh* I just can't get out like I used to do.
However, I'm a great online shopper.
