JULY/08
Thu, July 17, 2008 at 11:40AM First a thank you to Betty, one of my CorpseMistresses, for the fabone-ulous postcard!
Truly an Exquisite Corpse, if a bit skinny--or skinless, rather, boney even :}
The string wrapped spring was unwrapped last night---that section is cool, but the rest of the string wrapping didn't do much but add a few spots of colour and vague impressions. Greyman has decided i need some BIG RB's and some HUGE springs and sprockets to use--i love that man :}
A little disappointing, but good for future reference.
And some ideas to work on with these:
Did anyone know about this? The projects *are* to sell the products, but a very clever girl could probably use what she already has, or adapt stuff too :}
Car-fixin' day---ooooo toy shopping at Princess Auto again! You'd be surprised at what a very clever girl can find there as art supplies and tools :} Will show ya later!
Hey Princess Auto People!!!! If you go over to the Google search in my side bar, and type Princess Auto in, you'll see other entries where i post PA Love as well :} I find your stores and wares fascinating, as an artist, and am constantly finding new tools and products that qualify as art materials. Your staff are always helpful, if a bit puzzled on occassion that a middle aged woman would be asking "which of these wires would melt and make a nice blob, if i used my soldering gun" or "do these cotter pins come in any other colour?" I have never left one of your stores without something!
