About

I am a Canadian mixed media artist, working primarily with textiles. I'm curious, eccentric and just a little opinionated.

woot woot ideas afoot

First a thank you to Betty, one of my CorpseMistresses, for the fabone-ulous postcard!

Truly an Exquisite Corpse, if a bit skinny--or skinless, rather, boney even :}

The string wrapped spring was unwrapped last night---that section is cool, but the rest of the string wrapping didn't do much but add a few spots of colour and vague impressions. Greyman has decided i need some BIG RB's and some HUGE springs and sprockets to use--i love that man :}

A little disappointing, but good for future reference.

And some ideas to work on with these:

 Did anyone know about this?  The projects *are* to sell the products, but a very clever girl could probably use what she already has, or adapt stuff too :}

Car-fixin' day---ooooo toy shopping at Princess Auto again! You'd be surprised at what a very clever girl can find there as art supplies and tools :} Will show ya later!

I see a distinct resemblance between your rusty experiment and Mr. Skeleton above. They both look decidedly 'ribby'. Cool!

Let's just talk about that word enablement for a minute. Thanks so much for the link above!!!!I have just finished 6 hours of trawling through it, and as I have not come across the magazines before, got ensnared by their back issue sale, that SOMEONE forgot to mention. Hence, the credit card is quite battered to bits. I could have gone on, but luckily duty called. Arlee, I believe you have issues of Belle Armoire - are there any you could say are reakky must haves?

Mary Anne said what I was thinking. Ribs/springs.
