i is icky

Not feeling well today, so i booked off from work--actually i didn't go in at all......upset innards, sweaty and hot, and general blech.

To cheer myself up though, i pulled out a huge spool of invisible thread i found in my drawer and tried stitching paper and found objects. SNARLY!!!!! The thread has memorized the coils where it's been wound so long and created much badwording and ganashing of teeths.

I like my "Odd little Angel" anyways! Her body is a hand-felted sample i made last fall, her wings are metal, her halo is a rondelle MaryAnne sent me, and her face is fimo. Her halo/aura is straight standing up angelina--bad hair day too :} I stitched her on ragpaper and backed it with a heavy cardstock.

I think i may have found a local gallery to approach as well. Canadian artists, not just limited to Alberta, and from what i've seen, carefully selected, quality work and in biz for a looooong time.

Maybe she should have been an "odd little corpse".............ooooo, yup, yup, yup. And that's a play on my theme of "core" right now--wonder what i can come up with,hmmmmmmm hmm hmmm.................
