About

I am a Canadian artist in Calgary, Alberta, working primarily with textiles. I'm curious, eccentric and just a little opinionated. Surrealist in thought, Fauvist at heart, this is my almost daily art journal, eccentric and eclectic, explorative and absurd.

Flood relief, please

In an effort to raise more funds for my stoodio, and indeed my inability to get to my day job, i have listed 3 works of finished art in the shop. If you have been coveting something unique, lavished with hand embroidery and ecoprints and eco-dyes, please do check out the art in my shop. I am also open to payment plans, but private message me then for details at arlee dot ar at gmail dot com. If you can't afford to buy at this time, but could find it in your heart to donate the small amount of 5.00, the price of a fancy coffee (thanks to Deb Lacativa for this brainstorm :) ), i have a donation button in the sidebar to the right. So many of you have already helped and i will be forever grateful for your kind words and thoughtful generosities.

I am also hoping to list fabrics in the next few days for you to create your own Works of Art.

SHOP

EDIT: July 1/2013----Thank you for all the help and support. Because i have now enough funds generously given by you wonderful people and offers of "care packages", i have deleted the "donate" button. I will be forever grateful for your kind words and thoughfulness. If you care to donate to the Red Cross now, to help other Albertans, please do so at the Canadian Red Cross.
